Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Your sign-in account. When you sign in with Kick, Twitch, YouTube (Google) or Discord, we receive and keep the account's id, username, display name, profile picture and, where the platform gives it, email address. We keep which accounts you linked and when you last signed in.

How we use it

  • To sign you in and show your account.
  • To send your stream to the destinations you set, and to start and stop broadcasts there.
  • To show you the health of your streams, and to find and fix faults in the service.
  • To keep the service secure and to enforce our terms.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

YouTube and Google data

If you connect YouTube, Iron Stream uses YouTube API Services. With your permission, we use your Google account to read your YouTube channel's identity, to create and manage live broadcasts and live streams on it, and to read the stream key that sends your stream there. We do not use it for anything else. Iron Stream's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not let people read this data, except with your consent, for security, or where the law requires it. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Iron Stream's access at any time in your Google account settings.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and stores account data for us.
  • Streaming servers we operate or rent carry your stream and hold the settings and keys needed to send it.
  • The platforms you choose. We send your stream, and the requests needed to start it, to the platforms you set as destinations.
